Open Studios

The 2025 cohort of the Jan van Eyck Academie warmly invites you to Open Studios!

Over the course of three days, some 40 participants spanning the artistic spectrum (artists, designers, curators, writers, and other researchers) will open the doors to share a wide array of practices, showcasing the processes and outcomes of their residency time spent at the Jan van Eyck Academie in Maastricht. Open Studios 2025 celebrates artistic research in all its facets, transforming the academy building and surroundings into a vivid space of imagination, exchange, and inspiration.

Next to visiting the studios, guests are invited to a vibrant program of workshops, presentations, screenings, performances, and talks, and will have the chance to explore the academy gardens and labs, such as the Printing & Publishing Lab, the Food Lab, and the renewed Future Materials Lab.
