The Jan van Eyck Academie in Maastricht warmly invites you to its annual Open Studios.
For three consecutive days, the public is welcome to discover the artistic practices of the academy's cohort 2026—some 40 artists, designers (fashion, food, graphic, social), writers, architects, and other artistic researchers—who will display the processes and outcomes of their residency period.
During this celebratory event, you can partake in a programme of installations, presentations and talks, special Screening and Reading programmes, performances, and more. Next to this, all visitors can explore the academy gardens, savour various treats prepared by the Food Lab, discover a plethora of innovative materials at the Future Materials Lab, and learn all about what goes on in the vibrant Printing & Publishing Lab, and in other academy spaces.

Friday, October 23: 12–9pm / Saturday, October 24: 12–7pm / Sunday, October 25: 12–7pm
The proceeds of the tickets will go directly to the JvE Participant Grant, a specifically designed grant to support upcoming participants who may be experiencing hardship or adverse conditions and are in financial need.
