The MA Curatorial Practice program is dedicated to training in every aspect of professional curating. History, theory, hands-on exhibition-making, and networking are at the core of the two-year master’s degree. Working with world-renowned curators and experts, students are prepared to enter the professional field. We are pleased to announce our special Roundtable events for fall 2025.
The Curatorial Roundtable, an international forum for curators and institutional leaders to discuss important projects, is hosted by Steven Henry Madoff, Founding Chair of MACP. The Artists Roundtable, hosted by Tamsin Dillon, founder and director of Art in Public, and MACP faculty member, features leading international artists talking about their art and their curatorial experiences. Internationally acclaimed artist Ahmet Öğüt will present an overview of his practice, focusing on the importance of a risk-taking curatorial approach within his artistic work and how several of his projects have become curatorial platforms to include and reframe works by other artists, such as David Wojnarowicz, Marlene Dumas, Superflex, Alfredo Jaar, Harun Farocki, and many others.
