Proposal deadline: January 4, 2026, 11:59pm
The call for project proposals for the 12th edition of the PERSPEKTIVE Fund in the category of visual arts is now open until January 4, 2026 (11:59pm).
The fund supports institutions that implement bi-national collaborative projects, i.e. projects presented in both France and Germany. Eligible projects include exhibitions as well as conferences, symposia, and workshops, and may take different forms in both countries. Participatory formats such as festivals, performances, or art educational projects initiated by cultural practitioners are also invited to apply.
The main criteria are that projects are collaborative and are presented in both countries. Selected projects are to be realized between February and December 2026.
Submitted projects will be reviewed by a jury of four experts:
–Sebastian Baden, director of the Schirn Kunsthalle in Frankfurt
–Martha Kirszenbaum, independent curator
–Tarik Kiswanson, artist
–Kathleen Reinhardt, director of the Georg Kolbe Museum in Berlin and curator of the German Pavilion at the 61st Venice Biennale
The team at the Office for Visual Arts is available to provide further information regarding application conditions. For all questions, please contact: perspektive@institutfrancais.de
Initiated in 2014, the PERSPEKTIVE Fund enables the development of collaborative and transnational initiatives between German and French artistic scenes. It is supported by the Goethe Institute, the Institut Français, and the French ministry of Culture.
