Art Brussels announces its 42nd edition, taking place from Thursday to Sunday April 23–26, 2026. One of Europe’s most distinctive and established contemporary art fairs, Art Brussels embraces, in 2026, a shift toward a more focused format, prioritising the quality of the visitor and collector experience.
Featuring 138 galleries from 27 countries across five sections, the fair presents an international programme that balances established artists with emerging talent, with the continued support of its main partner, Delen Private Bank.
New for the 2026 edition is the introduction of Horizons. Selected by Devrim Bayar, Senior Curator at Kanal–Centre Pompidou in Brussels, the section presents six large-scale works within a dedicated scenographic exhibition, further enhancing the fair’s spatial experience and expanding its commitment to ambitious artistic production within a museum-quality framework.
The Prime section brings together 83 leading galleries presenting modern and contemporary masters alongside established international artists. Solo features 26 focused presentations dedicated to individual artistic practices, allowing for in-depth engagement with specific bodies of work.
The ’68 Forward section highlights 11 galleries exploring the diversity, experimentation, and boundary-pushing artistic movements that have shaped contemporary art since 1968, the founding year of Art Brussels. Discovery champions 38 emerging international artists through single-artist presentations or curated dialogues between two under-recognised artists whose work offers new perspectives for European collectors.
