The 31st Artecinema Festival will be inaugurated on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples and will continue from October 9 to 11 at the Teatro Augusteo.
Every year, Artecinema features a selection of newly produced documentaries that delve into the biographies and poetics of major artists, architects, and photographers on the international scene.
Four days of film screenings devoted to contemporary art, photography, architecture will delve into aspects of the often little-known creative process. Through the documentaries, viewers are able to enter into the artists’ studios, and observe and better appreciate the creative process of the works, the materials used, and the themes addressed.
Many of the films presented will be world, European, or Italian premieres, and will be divided into three sections: Art and Environs, Architecture and Design, and Photography.
The complete festival programme is available at artecinema.com.
