fluent

fluent is an arts organisation dedicated to contemporary art practices based in Santander. It is committed to the development of hybrid forms of production, exhibition, publishing, debate and exchange.

It houses an office space, a programme of exhibitions and a series of discursive events, screenings, performances and printed endeavors structured around each season’s thematic dimension.

fluent works with international artists, thinkers, writers, musicians, poets, and publishers involved in questions of art, culture, politics and theory. In 2021 fluent expanded into an independent bookshop where new and seminal monographs, artists’ books, catalogues, essays, novels, non fiction books, journals and zines are distributed.
