Das Kunstbuch

Das Kunstbuch (founded in 2018 by Marlene Obermayer) is a non-profit association dedicated to supporting and promoting artists’ books and independent publishing culture. Its main focus is the organization of the biennial Vienna Art Book Fair, which brings together exhibition, discourse, and education — with free admission for everyone. Over the course of three days, the VABF offers a free public program including exhibitions, talks, book presentations, readings, panel discussions, bookbinding workshops, and performances. It creates spaces for reflection and exchange.
