0xCollection is an independent platform for the collection, exhibition, and research of time-based and digital media art. Founded in 2023 by Karel Komárek, it operates across institutional, academic, and technological contexts to support the long-term preservation and critical situating of works that exist at the boundary of art and computation.
The collection engages with artists and curators whose practices address the material conditions of digital culture, its infrastructures, temporalities, and modes of transmission. Through an annual curatorial programme, 0xCollection develops thematic frameworks that situate new media practices within broader art-historical and cultural discourse.
Since 2025, the curatorial programme has been directed by Viola Lukács. 0xCollection is based in Basel.
