Bar Laika presents Satellite 18: Dust fundraiser

Join us at Bar Laika on Wednesday, September 14 from 8pm–12am for a fundraiser event supporting Dust, with live-sets by Puce Mary and Stefan Alexandrej Cvitanic, and a DJ-set by Sasori 701. 

Dust, New York’s newest internet radio station, was inaugurated in a loft space earlier this year by a collective of artists and musicians who saw an opportunity to support their scene and create a new space for music experimentation. Dust archives all of their shows on YouTube using a low-res webcam in almost black and white colors showing the music equipment and the top of the performer’s head, challenging the way internet music platforms typically archive their shows either as audio-only files on Soundcloud or in an amped-up Boiler Room-esque setting. The radio streams on the weekends and has hosted live- and DJ-sets by Via App, Bergsonist, Drew McDowell, and many more. 

This event will be livestreamed on Dust’s YouTube channel.
