A series of talks organized by Fondation Pernod Ricard at Paris Internationale, curated by Alice Dusapin.
For its second edition, TALK WITH AND ABOUT—curated by Alice Dusapin—addresses the theme of publishing, curating, and collecting in “non-institutional” environments and spaces, an opportunity to explore the complexity, richness, and vital role of independence as a means of action.
“What does it mean to try to do things in a different way? What does ‘institutional’ mean? What are its limitations and joys? How can these methodologies converse? MORE Publishers (Belgium), Rivers Institute for Contemporary Art & Thought (New Orleans, US), Radio Athens (Grece), and the Stillpass collection in Cincinnati will try to answer these questions." Alice Dusapin is a publisher and curator. She is co-founder of the magazine octopus notes, the publishing house Daisy, and the non-profit space Ampersand. Her research has been supported by the CNAP, the Michalski Foundation, and the Getty Research Institute, and she is a 2020-2021 resident at the French Academy in Rome-Villa Medici in art history. Since 2024, she has been Head of Publications at Villa Arson, Nice.
