apexart is an educational nonprofit arts organization that has been an important incubator for creatives for more than 30 years; prioritizing equal opportunity and aggressive outreach with a strong educational structure, supporting emerging curators and artists across the world, and engaging the public audience in meaningful dialogue & cultural exchange by addressing the most relevant & challenging issues across the world—all through NYC & Int’l Open Calls, Jury Programs, Exhibitions & Events, and a transformative Fellowship Program.
Since 1994, apexart has received 15,960 proposals and presented 222 exhibitions in NYC and 69 exhibitions in 48 other locations. Exhibition proposals were selected by 14,191 international volunteer jurors through a transparent and inclusive process given professional exposure to more than 1,250 artists, many from underserved locations and underprivileged backgrounds. The Fellowship Program has hosted 281 artists from around the world.
