Dates: October 21–24

During the week, we will focus on artistic research and development work relating to the contemporary fields of fine art and architecture. About 25 projects are presented in the form of lectures, performance, seminars, conversations with external guests, film screenings, an exhibition and book display.

Recently completed and some currently running artistic research and development projects are presented and discussed:

– Artistic development projects (projects aimed for the development of artistic research perspectives and which are run by teaching staff and students at the advanced level for a period of two years)
– Mejan Residents (one-year-long artistic research projects run by artists, architects and choreographers)

We also arrange two longer presentation and discussion blocks on the topics:
– “What does it mean to publish as an artist?”
– “Artistic processes in the archive”

The full programme can be downloaded from the Royal Institute of Art’s home page: www.kkh.se.

Alida Ivanov has been invited to follow all the presentations on the following blog address:
www.mejan-research2013.com

All the presentations are free of charge and open for all to attend!
