January 1st, 2014, The University of Dance and Circus, The University College of Opera in Stockholm, and The Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts, will together establish a new artistic university in Stockholm, Sweden.
The Swedish government’s ambition to support artistic research has provided us with a unique opportunity to develop and establish a research environment with international attractiveness, with a research that will develop our arts, our students, and our education; and ultimately also enrich the audiences and the society that we serve.
Stockholm University of the Arts are now seeking applicants for the position of Vice-chancellor. The ambition is for the vice-chancellor, with the assistance of staff members and students, to create a university of international and national distinction and appeal, with education, research, and inter-artistic and inter-scholastic collaboration at its base.
