The Architectural Association (AA) Visiting School is a platform created by the AA to extend the engagement of the world’s most renowned international school of architecture, and to learn from the realities of today’s highly distributed, global architectural culture. Since its launch in January 2008 in Dubai, the AA Visiting School has grown into a worldwide programme of short courses, design and research workshops of extraordinary depth, quality and learning. Led by AA tutors and a brilliant group of local partners working on the ground, in highly focused, engaged terrains, students from around the world have the opportunity to be part of this work. Students learn from and gain additional experience within settings that provide some of the most challenging design and research paradigms of our time.
Workshops are held throughout the year and across the globe, and are open to all creative minds including; students, artists, designers, writers, critical thinkers, theorists, curators and architects.
