The Visual Arts program of the School of the Arts at Columbia University seeks to fill a position either as Assistant or Associate Professor (tenure-track research faculty), or as Assistant or Associate Professor of Professional Practice (practice faculty), specializing in painting, to teach graduate and undergraduate level courses, effective July 1, 2012.
The Program seeks faculty with a vibrant painting practice and substantial teaching experience. The candidate must have the ability to engage critically with all students in the MFA program regardless of medium. A masters degree or equivalent is preferred.
