Fountainhead Arts FellowshipResidency period: mid-August 2011 through mid-May 2012.
Eligibility:
ONLY Spring 2011 graduating MFA painter/printmakers and sculptors are invited to apply for the fellowship year beginning August 2011.
If you graduated prior to 2011, you are NOT eligible to apply.
VCU students and graduates are NOT eligible to apply.
Fellows receive:
• 24-hour access to a private approximately 400 square foot studio
• Furnished double-occupancy apartment. (2-bedroom apartment shared with a fellow from another discipline)
• 15,000 USD stipend
• Part-time teaching experience at VCU
• Exhibition in Richmond
Fellowship recipient responsibilities:
• Teach 2 classes per semester in the Department of Painting/Printmaking OR the Department of Sculpture for 2 semesters
• Public lecture on your work
• Exhibition
