Digital Video Workshop | April 9 + 16
Held in Emily Carr’s cutting-edge media labs, the Digital Video Workshop students will explore the possibilities of creating appropriation-based video works using found footage, YouTube and Final Cut Pro. Students will think through choices based on form, rhythm, and content, and learn technical skills relating to importing/exporting, transitions, sequencing, and sound. This workshop will culminate with a screening and critique of students’ projects.

This intensive weekend workshop focuses on developing skills in documentation, writing, and the production of digital and physical portfolios. Students will have the opportunity to bring in their current portfolios for review by leading faculty.
