The program promotes the expansion of the field by working in schools, museums, cultural institutions, community-based organizations, and alternative settings.
* The Master of Arts in Art Therapy (MAAT) is one of the most established professional art therapy programs in the Midwest and one of the few programs in the nation offered at a professional school of fine art and design. MAAT students gain a minimum of 900 hours of clinical experience and complete two fieldwork placements at a variety of inpatient psychiatry facilities, drug treatment centers, residential care, schools, and correctional facilities.
