Global Perspective
CCA’s Graduate Program in Fine Arts seeks applicants from diverse social and cultural backgrounds to participate in an interdisciplinary pedagogic environment focused within and beyond the fine arts. Diversity Scholarships are offered to support the crucial role of students from various backgrounds in creating a rich dialog on the future of culture.
Supporting Diversity
Diversity Scholarships are available each year to entering graduate students who bring diverse histories, experiences, ideas, and creative practices to the CCA community. The scholarships, in combination with other CCA scholarships, may cover up to $26,000 for the 2007–8 school year, and are renewable for the second year of full-time study. There is no separate application. Recipients will be selected as part of the application review process. (Students must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be eligible for need-based financial aid; available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.)
CCA’s Graduate Fine Arts Diversity Scholarships are awarded to support students:
who are from educationally disadvantaged or underrepresented backgrounds and have shown strong artistic and academic achievement
who have demonstrated leadership in service to community
whose work focuses on issues of social or cultural diversity
