– The development and implementation of a gallery approach that is considerate of college programs, and international and Canadian art movements and practices.
– The direction and supervision of gallery staff, inclusive of workload assignments, support, evaluation, and collective agreement administration.
– The development and administration of gallery operating and capital budgets
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a MFA, MA or PhD in Art History (or equivalent in a relevant field) with a minimum of three to five years curatorial and/or gallery management experience and a familiarity with Canadian and/or international art practice. Essential skills include excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, experience in staff supervision, and the ability to respond to student needs and work effectively with colleagues in a team environment.
