One year non-renewable position. MFA required, salary commensurate with experience. National/international exhibition required; teaching experience preferred. Teach painting in a high-level interdisciplinary program at both undergraduate and graduate levels. UIC’s fine arts program has a strong intellectual/conceptual focus and serves a diverse community of students in a vibrant and complex urban setting. In addition to a strong studio practice, candidates must have advanced knowledge of the critical/theoretical discourse related to contemporary art.
