Animation, games, video art, interactive installations and multimedia performances will feature at the Transient Inflection exhibition from May 29 to June 17, 2017 at the Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre, City University of Hong Kong (CityU).
The 18 exhibits are the work of 20 graduates of the Master of Fine Art (MFA) at the School of Creative Media (SCM).
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to experience a hybrid collection of art that reflects the noise of daily life, memories, dreams, and the senses and perception of the poetic space of life and death.
The two-year MFA programme at CityU provides an opportunity for students to extend their practice in depth and to develop their careers as professional artists, curators and performers.
The opening ceremony, which follows performances, will be held on Monday, May 29 at 7pm. The preview starts at 6pm.
The exhibition is funded by SCM, the MFA students, and sponsors including Blindspot Gallery, Burger Collection, Hanart TZ Gallery and 10 Chancery Lane Gallery.
Transient Inflection will be open from 10am to 7pm, starting May 29 until June 17 (Monday–Sunday) with free admission at the Ground Floor and 9th floor of the Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre, 18 Tat Hong Avenue, Kowloon Tong.

MFA in Creative Media
The Master of Fine Arts in Creative Media (MFACM) emphasizes the integration of art, culture and technology. As an internationally recognized terminal degree in the creative arts, the MFACM provides intensive and advanced training in digital audiovisual media and culture, animation, computer graphics, film/video production, interactive media and new media art. A cutting-edge art programme with a global vision, the MFACM is a hub and a laboratory for creative exchanges and professional collaboration regionally as well as internationally.
