Tate invites applications for the next edition of Tate Intensive, held at Tate Modern, July 8 to 13, 2018.

Brought together in a spirit of exchange and collaboration, Tate Intensive participants are asked to contribute in an open and honest way to peer-led discussions throughout the week, drawing on their own experiences and case studies from their respective organisations, as well as exploring new ways of thinking and working. The programme includes keynotes by leading museum professionals and artists, and workshop sessions attended by members of Tate staff from across the institution. Daily visits to exhibitions and collection displays at Tate Modern, Tate Britain and other London cultural institutions complement discussions held in the Tate Exchange space at Tate Modern.

Tate Intensive comprises around 25 selected participants from around the world. We are actively seeking a diverse range of professionals working in art galleries, museums and other cultural institutions at different stages of their careers in a wide range of countries. This intimate group of culture professionals is encouraged to share knowledge and exchange ideas concerning their current practice, as well as discussing new approaches to curating, programming, audience development, governance and digital engagement. Participants join an ongoing network with potential for future collaborations.
