MvVO ART, an innovative art venture dedicated to creating opportunities for artists, announces a call for artists submissions to AD ART SHOW 2018 which opens at Sotheby’s in New York City, February 22–25, 2018.

This groundbreaking selling exhibition will celebrate & showcase a new generation of contemporary artists, who work/ed in advertising and/or commercial art―following in the footsteps of many renowned artists who work/ed in advertising/commercial art, including Warhol, Rockwell, Magritte, O’Keefe, Hopper, Ruscha, Rosenquist and so many others―often maintaining dual careers for decades. “It’s time to add more names to that list!” says Maria van Vlodrop, MvVO ART Founder & CEO.
Artists are invited to apply and submit digital files of their personal paintings, sculpture, photography, works-on-paper, mixed-media and video-art, via the MvVO ART website, for review by the MvVO ART Selection Committee―comprised of respected art experts and led by Laura Skoler, longtime Board member of the New Museum and the Daniel and Florence Guerlain Contemporary Art Foundation.
Participating artists will have a presence on Artsy.com via MvVO ART―reaching a vast audience of global collectors.
A Jury of prominent art collectors will award one or more AD ART SHOW participating artists with a Prize of Distinction.
AD ART SHOW champions include Laura Skoler, longtime Board member of the New Museum and the Daniel and Florence Guerlain Contemporary Art Foundation, Eric Shiner, SVP, Contemporary Art at Sotheby’s and former Director of The Andy Warhol Museum, Linda Yacarrino, Chairman, Advertising Sales & Client Partnerships, NBCUniversal and David Sable, Global CEO, Y&R.
