PHOTOFAIRS | San Francisco, the cutting-edge contemporary art fair dedicated to the photographic medium, is now accepting applications to the 2018 show.
Following a critically acclaimed inaugural edition which brought together 34 leading galleries and over 11,000 collectors and curators from across the US, PHOTOFAIRS | San Francisco returns to the iconic Festival Pavilion at Fort Mason Center on Friday, February 23 through Sunday, February 25.
Collectors will enjoy an exclusive preview on Thursday, February 24, 2018 and the fair’s opening night on Thursday, February 22 will benefit the photography program at SFMOMA.
The fair’s international outlook offers collectors a true site of discovery making it a key focal point within the international art fair calendar. 2018 exhibitors include East Wing Gallery (Doha), Edwynn Houk Gallery (New York, Zurich), Robert Klein Gallery (Boston), KLV Projects (Vienna), Robert Mann Gallery (New York), PACE (Beijing, Hong Kong, London, New York, London, Palo Alto, Seoul), Christine Park Gallery (London & New York), Ravestijn Gallery (Amsterdam), and Bryce Wolkowitz Gallery (New York), amongst others.
PHOTOFAIRS’ international focus and boutique curation will bring together vintage and blue-chip works alongside contemporary photography and moving image, creating an excellent environment in which to discover and collect new works of art.
The fair is comprised of two exhibiting sectors that are supported by an extensive public program of talks, installations and feature exhibitions:
Main
A sector of the fair that welcomes presentations of solo or group artist exhibitions from established international galleries.
Platform
Celebrating the international ethos of PHOTOFAIRS, this sector welcomes galleries that have never exhibited in a US art fair before and offers highly subsidized rates.
