A European fair with a focus on what is new on the international scene
Building on the success of the 2012 edition, Art Paris Art Fair is reinforcing its unique identity by focussing not only on the art scenes of Europe, but also on the creativity coming out of other regions of the world such as Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
The fair’s exploration of the artistic scenes of Europe is an opportunity to (re)visit some of the major artistic movements of the 20th century that continue to influence the artists of today. Another objective is to showcase the diversity and specificity of the artistic scenes from all over Europe.
In this respect, the fair continues to look to the east of the continent and will showcase Russia in 2013.
Promises: a new section for young galleries
In 2013 Art Paris Art Fair is introducing a new section called Promises. The section is reserved for young galleries that have been established for five years or less and have never shown at Art Paris Art Fair. A special sponsored rate will apply.
Limited Edition: exploring the relationship between art and contemporary design
Launched in 2012, this space covering 350 square meters is dedicated to the exploration of the relationship and cross-over between contemporary art and design. It is reserved for selected cutting-edge galleries presenting exclusive and unique pieces made by contemporary talents.
