Swinging Lamps is the second installment of the exhibition series SIGNALS, a succession of locative performances that utilize both old and new technologies. Audience participation animates and shapes the performances with varying degrees of control by the artist.
Third Space Gallery is an interdisciplinary and nomadic exhibition space committed to representing local, national and international professional contemporary artists. Third Space strives to highlight the work of emerging and established artists who cross disciplines and boundaries in their examinations of contemporary culture. The aim of the gallery is to facilitate the education, understanding and appreciation of contemporary art at all levels. It does so by hosting exhibitions, workshops, residencies, lectures, performances and screenings, as well as by publishing and disseminating materials relevant towards this aim.
