Galería Helga de Alvear presents Thomas Demand’s film “Rain” (Regen), 2008.
The methodically composed 35mm animated film of falling raindrops onto the pavement invites the audience to question the reality of what they are being presented. The projection is a continuous loop with no beginning or end, allowing the viewer to determine the time of engagement.
The projection complements the exhibition which takes place at the Galería Helga de Alvear from November 27, 2009 to 10 January 2010.
The work will be exhibited for one night only on Tuesday 15 December at the Teatro Lara in the Corredera Baja de San Pablo 15.
Free entry from 20.00 to 23.00 h.
