Konstfack is looking for a Senior lecturer in Design specialising in sustainable development. The position is at the Department of Design, Interior Architecture and Visual Communication (DIV). The Industrial Design division has some 75 students divided among a three-year artistic bachelor of arts degree (180 cr) and a two-year master’s degree (120 cr) in design.

On the Bachelor´s programme Industrial Design the student is trained to develop products and services within a variety of areas. The student designs products and conducts user studies and experiments together with others in different environments. By designing and materialising proposals, designers can produce creative and practical solutions to problems and explore aesthetic qualities, whilst also contributing ideas on how we can relate to one another and our surroundings in sustainable and at times unexpected ways.

The Master’s programme in Design, with the Individual Study Plan in Design specialisation, is given in English. Here, the student expands on various aspects of design theory such as the ability to design proposals, theoretical knowledge, and various approaches to exploration and collaboration.
