Applications are invited for a part time/half time post of Professor/Full Professor of Architectural Design to be appointed at the level of Professor/Full Professor. Applicants will be operating at the level of Professor in a Top 200 ranked academic institution, and be at the forefront of architectural practice. Applicants will be committed to excellence, to the highest levels of achievement, and to the continued development of the discipline. Applicants will have a distinctive and identifiable approach to design, in their use of specialised knowledge, specific design methods, application of technology, in their engagement with clients and with the public; all of which will align with the values and priorities of UCD.
Applicants will be engaged in design research through publication and exhibition of creative work. They will possess excellent interpersonal skills, and a capacity and enthusiasm for working in an interdisciplinary context within the School, the College, and the wider academic community. The successful candidate will join a strong team of over 50 Architecture Faculty and Design Fellows and will provide important leadership connecting UCD Architecture with the forefront of architectural design in Ireland and globally. They will teach on Architecture programmes as well as contributing to the School, the College of Engineering and Architecture, and the wider University.

95 Full Professor Salary Scale: EUR 117,915–151,492
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
