Paris Photo, the largest international art fair dedicated to the photographic medium, returns to the historic Grand Palais for it 24th edition, November 12-15, 2020. Over 200 galleries and art book dealers will offer collectors and photography enthusiasts, the best in the market in one iconic location in the heart of Paris. A dynamic program including a dense network of Parisian cultural institutions, major museums, art centers and private foundations alongside on-site exhibitions, awards, talks, and book signing sessions makes Paris Photo a week-long cultural event that reunites the greatest names in the field. Applications are now open for the Main Gallery and Book sector, as well as curated sectors: PRISMES, Curiosa and Films.
Main Sector Galleries present a complete panorama of artworks with a special emphasis on solo, duo shows, and thematic projects exploring the photographic medium offering visitors the opportunity to discover and rediscover leading artists through the viewing of an important artistic ensemble.
PRISMES showcases exceptional large-format, series, and installations projects exploring the photographic medium in its most diverse forms.
Curiosa spotlights emerging art and is presented each year by a guest curator. This sector provides young and small-structure galleries the unique opportunity to participate in large art fair and more seasoned collectors, the occasion to discover new talent.
The Film sector highlights the relationship between still and moving images in artistic creation. Applications are open to galleries applying conjointly to one of the above sectors. Screenings are held in the mk2 Grand Palais cinema.
Applications for Main sector galleries and Book sector publishers & art book dealers are open online through March 13.
Applications for the PRISMES, Curiosa and Film Sectors are open through May 15.
