Dear Friends,
With Obama’s re-election, we are hoping for better weather here in New York. In two weeks we’ve had an epic hurricane and a massive snowstorm, it’s crazy.
A number of alternative spaces in New York are having a really hard time after the hurricane: archives have been flooded, artworks and books damaged, fundraising benefits cancelled or delayed. It’s a terrible situation, and these organizations really need our help to get back on their feet with our donations. To contribute please follow these links to Printed Matter, The Kitchen, Smack Mellon, or Primary Information.
Lastly, we wanted to let you know about a number of e-flux exhibitions, talks, publications, and events in New York and elsewhere. We hope to see you at some of them.
Warmly,
e-flux

Shanghai
The archive of two seminal e-flux projects: Nightschool and Unitednationsplaza is now on view at the Shanghai Biennial. For this, Anton Vidokle, Nikolaus Hirsch, and Eungie Joo designed an oversized scale model of the iconic building of New York’s New Museum, built lying collapsed on its side and including a labyrinthine passage way to a small room containing the digital archive of more than 200 hours of lectures, seminars, films and performances.
