We are pleased to feature the 2020 MFA Thesis and First-Year MFA Exhibitions from Columbia University School of the Arts on Exhibitions.

MFA Thesis Exhibition: Columbia University School of the Arts
Columbia University School of the Arts Visual Arts MFA Thesis Exhibition marks the culmination of two years of intensive study and art-making in our Program. The exhibition takes place each spring at the Miriam and Ira D. Wallach Art Gallery in the Lenfest Center for the Arts. This year our in-person exhibition has been postponed until health concerns allow. New dates will be announced on our website.

The students, faculty, and staff of the Visual Arts Program are excited to share artworks from the MFA class of 2020 with you. Please join us in celebrating a new generation of artists emerging in this time of enormous grief, rage, passion, and hope. [view the Exhibition]

First-Year MFA Exhibition: Columbia University School of the Arts
Annually, Columbia University School of the Arts Visual Arts Program presents an exhibition of work from our first-year MFA cohort at the Miriam and Ira D. Wallach Art Gallery in the Lenfest Center for the Arts. For many students this may be the first opportunity to make their work public. Sadly, the moment for doing this in-person has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the meantime, our students, faculty, and staff invite you to view artworks from the Columbia MFA class of 2021. New dates to view their work and meet them will be announced on our website. [view the Exhibition]
