For the first time it is now possible to visit the exhibition Venice and American Studio Glass at LE STANZE DEL VETRO, in Venice, comfortably from home.
Thanks to the new 3D virtual tour, those who cannot travel to Venice can enjoy the extraordinary works of American and Venetian artists on show. Each room, including the Sala Carnelutti of the Fondazione Giorgio Cini, where the monumental Laguna Murano Chandelier installation by Dale Chihuly is exhibited, provides textual, photographic and video insights dedicated to Studio Glass at a click on the website.
To go deeper into the history of the American Studio Glass and discover through the voices of the protagonists more details, insights and anecdotes about the works on show, it is possible to book a free guided virtual visit, in Italian or English, any day.
Moreover, starting from November 14, free online guided visits are scheduled via Zoom every Saturday and Sunday at 12 noon in English or Italian and at 3pm (CET) in Italian.
More insights and information about the exhibition are also available through Glassbot-Le Stanze del Vetro, the digital and interactive guide available through the Messenger application on your smartphone.
The second Fuso-Fuso!! appointment, the series of meetings with experts in the history and glassmaking techniques, is scheduled on Friday, November 13 at 5pm (CET), via Zoom: on this occasion, the Venetian Master Lino Tagliapietra will recount his American experience.
SUNglassDAYs, the Sunday appointments for families, are scheduled via Zoom on Sunday, November 8 and 15 at 5pm (CET).
All educational activities and virtual guided visits are free, but advance booking is required: to participate, please email artsystem [at] artsystem.it at least two days before the planned event.
