Generali Foundation Collection Series
edited by Sabine Breitwieser

The Generali Foundation Collection Series introduces important themes from this collection of contemporary art, without dealing explicitly with the collected artworks. Instead, crucial discourses for the formation of art practices are explored.
Art After Conceptual Art
edited by Alexander Alberro and Sabeth Buchmann
Art After Conceptual Art tracks the various legacies of conceptualist practice over the past three decades. The anthology introduces and develops the idea that Conceptual art generated several different, and even contradictory, forms of art practice. The bulk of the volume features highly innovative essays challenging standard historicizations of the legacy of Conceptualism, as well as the critical impact of these art practices on art since the 1970s. The essays explore topics as diverse as the interrelationships between Conceptualism and institutional critique, neoexpressionist painting and conceptualist paradigms, Conceptual arts often-ignored complicity with design and commodity culture, the specific forms of identity politics taken up by the reception of Conceptual art, and Conceptualisms North/South and East/West dynamics.
Allan Sekula: Aerospace Folktales
In his seminal work Aerospace Folktales of 1973, artist and photography theorist Allan Sekula investigates folktales of the aeronautics industry in Southern California. From black-and-white photographs, taped interviews conducted with his parents, and a commentary written by him, we learn about the effects on the entire family when the artists father loses his job.
Limited edition of 100 copies, includes Audio CD, in cardboard slipcase.
Signed and numbered by the artist.
