Design Trust/RCA Fellowship in Design Curation 2022
Design Trust/RCA Fellowship in Design Curation 2022 is inviting interested applicants with a focus on the theme “Hyperlocal”. Two fellows will be selected and awarded six-month fellowship opportunities for research, learning and engagement at the Royal College of Art based in London, extensively supported by the Design Trust. Based at the Royal College of Art in London, the Fellows will undertake advanced research into curatorial practice in relation to contemporary design and recent design history. Areas of focus might include: strategies for exhibition-making, display, interpretation and collections; design archives; design curating in the public sphere; design theory and method as curatorial practice; curating emergent technologies; and history and current practice in design curating. Design Trust Seed and Feature Grants
Design Trust offers grants to individual designers, curators, collectives and non-profit organisations for projects and activities focusing on the context and content relevant to Hong Kong and the region and the Greater Bay Area. These projects include but are not limited to: talks, exhibitions, residencies, research projects and creative installations.
