Fondazione Torino Musei launches a non-binding call to select the artistic director of Artissima, International Contemporary Art Fair in Turin. The call is intended to encourage and collect expressions of interest from specialized people, with the requested qualifications.
The director will be responsible for the conception, development and fulfilment of the commercial and cultural project of the fair, with the task of strengthening the international position of Artissima, ensuring the quality of art and fostering management and commercial policies aimed at increasing the profitability of the Fair, and of developing the Artissima brand through the conception and realization of special projects.
The post is for a full-time position, three-year contract (2022, 2023, and 2024 editions), that may be extended up to two years.
The ideal candidate should have qualified specialized knowledge of international contemporary art, well-established relationships in the contemporary art market and managerial experience in business management, event management, in marketing and public relations and in the development of digital activities, preferably in relation to the art market.

Artissima is the International Contemporary Art Fair held in Turin from 1994 and represents a special window on international contemporary art, thanks to the participation of galleries characterized by the quality of their projects and of the artists presented. A rich array of collateral events and activities involving the local community is organized during Artissima.
The Fair is organized by Artissima Srl, a company entirely owned by Fondazione Torino Musei, which will select the Director.
