Canariasmediafest 12th edition
October 31st – November 4th 2006
Aspiring participants have until the 28th of July 2006 to enter their work for the Canariasmediafest competition.
Since 1989 the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands has hosted the Canariasmediafest (known as the International Festival of Arts and Digital Cultures). Under the direction of Claudia Gianetti, the festival offers the unique opportunity to see the works presented for each of the seven sections of the contest, as well as enjoy open-air electronic music concerts, expositions and attend workshops.
The twelfth edition of the Mediafest will begin on the 31st of October and finish on the 4th of November 2006 at Las Palmas state-of-the-art modern cultural centre, theEspacio Digital, which is dedicated to the promotion of digital culture and is run by the General Council of Gran Canaria. It is situated in an area of Las Palmas known as the high city, where you can enjoy sweeping views of the citys bay. Aspiring participants have until the 28th of July 2006 to enter their work for the Canariasmediafest competition.
