The exhibition gut ist was gefällt (good is what is pleasing) in the Museum für Moderne Kunst (MMK) Frankfurt am Main will show new works by Hans-Peter Feldmann, Lucien Samaha and Wolfgang Tillmans together with works by his students.

Since 2003, Wolfgang Tillmans has led a class for interdisciplinary art at the Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Künste Städelschule (State Academy of Fine Arts) in Frankfurt am Main. Together with his class he researched the theme gut ist was gefällt and working with various mediums and techniques it is designed as unique challenge for the development of a joint contribution for this exhibition. Works of photography, painting, video and conceptual art will be on view.

This exhibition takes places in the framework of Frankfurter Positionen. First presented in 2001, the Frankfurter Positionen is understood as a place for experimentation: In a two-year rotation it tries to formulate a position for effecting social change in our environment through both artistic and academic statements.
