P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center presents Fine Print: Alternative Media at P.S.1, a series of public programs co-organized with innovative publications from New York and nationwide. One of the countrys original alternative spaces for contemporary art, P.S.1 is working with numerous alternative publications to produce a range of programs involving panel discussions, readings, lectures, music, performances, and play. From December 2005 through June 2006, Fine Print will feature events on literature, politics, photography, sound art, stencil art, and even the legacy of Iron Chef.
Participating publications include The Believer, Bidoun, Cabinet, Clear Cut Press, Esopus, Influence, The Journal of Aesthetics & Protest, Mass Appeal, n 1, The Relay Project, and Topic. All programs will be recorded for the audio-archive on WPS1.org.

The inaugural program features talks by artists Eric Fischl, Cory Arcangel, and Matthew Ronay in conjunction with The Believers December art-themed issue. A monthly magazine devoted to reviews and interviews, The Believer is known for its trademark bravado, enthusiasm, and eclecticism.
