We’re swinging the doors WIDE OPEN. View the work of 15 artists in their private studios at 120 Broadway–a continuation of our innovative site-oriented residency program held in former locations such as the landmark Woolworth Building and LMCC’s World Views residency program in the World Trade Center. LMCC/Workspace encourages an artistic, political, and theoretical consideration of location and context. By positioning artists in Lower Manhattan LMCC creates ties between the arts and business communities while furthering our goal to create a critical mass of creative production at the forefront of New York’s contemporary arts scene.
