The School of Architecture of Yale University invites applications for a faculty appointment in the History and Theory of Architecture. The appointment would be made at the rank of assistant or associate professor depending on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities would include lecture and seminar teaching in the School’s professional and post-professional degree programs, as well as at the undergraduate level, along with involvement in the school’s Master of Environmental Design (M.E.D.) and Ph.D. programs; as well as spearheading various research and outreach initiatives.
Qualifications
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in architecture, architectural history, or a related discipline. Potential candidates are expected to hold exceptional promise to become the foremost leaders in their fields. A publication record is required. Although not required, a professional degree in architecture along with experience in design studio teaching is considered desirable.
