Clasav is the first italian graduate course in visual arts; it was born in november 2001 under the directorship of Angela Vettese as part of the faculty of Art and Designs whose dean is Marco de Michelis and consists of an intense two year programme. The teachers are chosen among internationally recognized artists, curators and theoreticians, such as Francesco Bonami, Sandro Chia, Olafur Eliasson, Guido Guidi, Joseph Kosuth, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Giulio Paolini, Tobias Rehberger, Pierre Rosenberg, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Grazia Toderi. The small number of students, the possibility of group shows, frequent interchanges with theatre, architecture and urbanistic classes, helps the student to transform their studies in an intense personal and cultural experience.
