Eyebeam Atelier is pleased to announce its third annual online critical forum, Revisioning Television, examining the past, present, and future of television. The four-week forum on Eyebeam’s Web site will launch today and run through November 20th. The online forum will unite video artists, digital art critics and curators, media and communications academics, and industry professionals in an investigation of television as a medium for cultural and artistic practice. It will also explore the future of television in a world of Internet convergence and interactive technologies.

Eyebeam Unveils New Web site

Eyebeam Atelier is excited to announce the highly anticipated launch of its new Web site designed by leading interactive firm, Flat. The new Web site includes the latest information on all of Eyebeam’s activities, including sections devoted to the new museum of art and technology and the architecture design competition; Digital Day Camp 2000; the newest online critical forum, Revisioning Television; the Artist-in-Residence program. The design objective of the new Web site is to provide a transparent area for artists to produce artworks, students to research, scholars to engage in discourse, and the general public to experience all three areas. The site employs inventive uses of DHTML to create interactive and animated elements.
