Our current strategy Connect Create Change Leading Collaborative Arts in Ireland (2020–2025) is the bedrock for Create’s work and will provide the incoming Director with both a strong foundation and scope to evolve the organisation’s work beyond the current planning horizon.
The Director will lead a highly skilled and collaborative team. Demonstrating thought leadership they will devise and deliver initiatives and policies that promote socially engaged collaborative art as a dynamic vibrant contemporary practice, taking full account of the increasing diversity of Irish society and the need to advance an intersectional approach to equality, diversity and human rights in our work.
Drawing on established networks this exciting opportunity to lead Create will provide ample scope to enhance the agenda for collaborative and socially engaged arts practice nationally and internationally.
The board is seeking to appoint a dynamic, highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills and leadership qualities to manage the organisation through the next exciting stage of its development.
