3:30pm–5pm: Walk & talk with James Quinaz & A.L. Steiner, hosted by Bas Fisher Invitational
Join artist A.L. Steiner (Miami, b. 1967) as she discusses her billboard project Welcome to the Misanthropocene (Origins of Ecofeminism), on view in the Miami Design District.
Following the talk, Steiner will host a brief walk on the Miami River + studio visit with artist & designer James Quinaz, who built a collection of furniture using only objects found in Biscayne Bay and the Miami River as materials for his Bay Store project. Quinaz Studio focuses on sustainable production practices that minimize the use of harmful chemicals and materials.
