FM Centre for Contemporary Art is a centre dedicated to art and art collections that assembles all subjects and functions related to the conservation and enhancement of private collections and artists’ estates. Located in the historical industrial complex of Frigoriferi Milanesi, it includes an exhibition area dedicated to Italian and international collections, a space for contemporary art galleries, an open storage facility for art collectors wishing to make their collections accessible to the public, and a number of artists’ estates. Furthermore, the centre organizes a residency program for artists and curators, a series of talks with collectors and a screening program. The art direction is entrusted to Marco Scotini, who is supported by an advisory board of international experts which includes Charles Esche (Director, Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven), Hou Hanru (Artistic Director, MAXXI, Rome), Vasif Kortun (former Director of Research and Program, SALT, Istanbul), Grazia Quaroni (Senior Curator / Head of Collections, Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain, Paris), Enea Righi (collector, Bologna).

FM Centre for Contemporary Art is supported by Open Care, the only company in Italy offering integrated services for storage, management, and restoration of artworks and art collections.
