Fonds Belval is a public organisation established for the development of the “Cité des Sciences, de la Recherche et de l’Innovation” (City of Science, Research and Innovation). Their mission is to develop the projects, from the preparation of the construction program to the commissioning of facilities. Belval is situated in the south of Luxembourg and was a former centre of industrial steel production. Belval is now being transformed into a hub for science and culture, preserving the former steelworks but constructing new buildings around it. Le Fonds Belval has initiated Public Art Experience, an innovative programme of international production residencies.
