Minerva Art Academy is one of the seventeen schools within Hanze University of Applied Sciences in The Netherlands. Fine Arts and Design, the Frank Mohr Institute and Minerva Academy of Pop Culture form Minerva Art Academy. Minerva is a lively and vibrant place with an open atmosphere. Our academy is firmly grounded in the cities where we are situated. This means the city is part of us and we are part of the city. For all our students this means they have various opportunities to share their own work with a broad audience.
Art knows no boundaries in time and place. At Minerva Art Academy we have created an international context. We have a diverse student population representing over 50 nationalities. That is why many of our programmes are taught in English. From the start of the programme you will encounter a dynamic, international environment that encourages you to incorporate new experiences and innovations.
In addition to our bachelor programmes, the Frank Mohr Institute offers two English-taught master programme: Master of Arts in Fine Art and Design Painting and Master of Arts in Fine Arts Media Art Design and Technology (MADtech). Graduates are awarded the internationally recognised degree Master in Fine Arts (MFA).
